Once issued, an e-Visa Saudi Arabia is valid for 1 year. If your passport expires before then, you will need to reapply for an e-Visa, as the authorisation is linked to a passport number. In this case, the authorities may issue you an e-Visa valid only until the end of your passport's validity.

The e-Visa allows you to stay in Saudi Arabia for up to 90 days. For longer stays, you should apply for a traditional visa in the passport, which will require a more demanding application process. You have the possibility to travel several times over 90 days during the year of validity of the e-Visa.

There is no time limit between trips to Saudi Arabia. The frequency and duration of stays should not be taken to mean that you are seeking to circumvent the rules and establish yourself indirectly and permanently in the country. This concept is at the discretion of the Saudi immigration authorities.

• Stopover of less than 12 hours with a connecting flight with the same airline:
  The transit visa is not required. During your stopover, you will not be able to leave the transit zone.
• Stopover of less than 12 hours with a connecting flight with a different airline:
  The transit visa is mandatory, it can be requested from the Embassy, your airline or on the MOFA website.
• Stopover of more than 12 hours and less than 96 hours with a connecting flight with the same or a different airline:
  The transit visa is mandatory. The airlines Flynas and Saudia offer to their travelers to apply for a 96h transit visa at the time of booking the flight (a night's accommodation can be taken care of by Saudia Airline in some cases).

Having an Israeli visa stamp when travelling to Saudi Arabia is not prohibited. However, Israeli nationals are not allowed to enter.

Yes, minors also need an e-Visa. However, they must apply and travel with at least one "responsible" adult. You can group their application in the same form. The fee is the same as for an adult.

If the minor leaves French territory without a legal guardian, he or she must be in possession of an AST (authorisation to leave the country). This document can be requested online, and must be completed by one of the holders of parental authority. When travelling, this form must be accompanied by a copy of the identity document of the legal guardian.

Meningococcal meningitis vaccine is mandatory for pilgrimages. Vaccinations against Poliomyelitis or Yellow Fever are mandatory if travellers have recently passed through transmission areas.

The electronic visa is an ultra-simplified online process proposed by States to avoid queues at the embassy, while boosting their tourism. While it is suitable for most stays, some special cases (nationalities, length of stay, reason for travel, etc.) still require traditional visas in the passport.
