In late 2019, Saudi Arabia introduced the electronic visa for 4 reasons for travel: tourism, events, visiting relatives or pilgrimage (Umrah only). This electronic visa is available for57 nationalities, including most Schengen Area countries, the USA, Canada and the UK. It allows stays of 1 to 90 days for 1 year (90 days maximum over 1 year).
Please note that during the month of Hajj, the Saudi Arabia e-Visa is not valid for arriving in Jeddah or Medina.

The cost of an electronic visa for Saudi Arabia is 101 € per traveller in consular fees, excluding intermediary fees if required. Nationals ofSchengen area, USA and UK are eligible for a visa on arrival in Saudi Arabia, if they are travelling with a Saudi national airline (Saudi Arabian Airlines, Flynass, Flyadeal or SaudiGulf Airlines). However, we advise you to apply at least three days before you leave for Saudi Arabia. Once your Saudi Arabia e-Visa has been issued, you will haveone year to enter the country.

Security The MFA is prohibiting travellers from visiting the localities of Mouawiya and Qatif. The border area in the provinces of Najran, d'Assir and Djizan is also prohibited.
