At the end of 2019, Saudi Arabia introduced the e-visa for 4 travel reasons: tourism, events, visiting relatives or pilgrimage (Umrah only). This electronic visa is available for 49 nationalities, including most Schengen countries, the USA, Canada and the UK. It allows stays from 1 to 90 days for 1 year (90 days maximum over 1 year).
Please note that during the month of Hajj, the Saudi Arabia e-Visa is not valid for arriving in Jeddah or Medina.

Nationalities eligible for e-Visa (see below), can also obtain their visa on arrival. Payment is made on site at kiosks by credit card only. The same applies to holders of a permanent residence permit, British, American or Schengen visas.

The price of the electronic visa Saudi Arabia is 180 € per traveler. Nationals ofSchengen Area countries, the USA and the UK are eligible for a visa on arrival in Saudi Arabia, if they travel with a Saudi national airline(Saudi Arabian Airlines, Flynass, Flyadeal or SaudiGulf Airlines). However, we advise you to apply online at least three days before your departure to Saudi Arabia. Once your Saudi Arabia e-Visa is issued, you will haveone year to enter the country.

Security The MFA prohibits travellers from visiting the following locations Mouawiya and Qatif. The border area in the provinces of Najran, of Assir and the Djizan is also prohibited. It is not recommended, except for imperative reasons, to go to the Al Qassim regionon the whole of the border area with Iraq, the Yemen or in the area southwest of Riyadh.
