Umrah Visa (Minor Pilgrimage)
Umrah can be performed year-round, outside the Hajj period. Since September 2019, holders of a tourism e-Visa can also perform Umrah without an additional specific visa. This is a major advancement for pilgrims worldwide.
- Passport valid for at least 6 months
- Tourism e-Visa or specific Umrah visa
- Proof of vaccination (meningitis ACWY)

Hajj Visa (Major Pilgrimage)
Hajj is the fifth pillar of Islam and takes place annually during the month of Dhul Hijjah. The Hajj visa is a specific visa, different from the tourism e-Visa. It is issued through travel agencies accredited by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
- Passport valid for at least 6 months
- Registration through an accredited agency
- Mandatory vaccination certificate
- Proof of financial capacity
- For women under 45: mahram accompaniment
